“Does the iPad mini play movies and can one text from this tablet?”

• It does play movies on apps and such. The picture quality is awesome. You can text from it if you get the cellular version i believe. You can also text on it if you have an iphone, thats what i reallllly like about apple...all the connectivity.

• Yes we have this ipad mini for our son the size is perfect and he is able to talk back and forth to his friends who does not even have an Ipad.
