“My was question is why I have a black screen and I heard sounds why is that? I have it plug in and did everything I was told to do but my screen is still black”

Is your iPad an iPad Air 3? If it is Apple has said that certain iPad Air 3’s have been reported to have the “black screen of death” and are offering to fix it for free. Take it to a Best Buy store near you and they can check to see if yours is one of them.
