• I am pretty sure this is possible as long as you purchase the Wi-Fi + Cellular! You must do that or you can only call on Wi-Fi.

• You can do calls on the iPad but only if you have a cellphone synced with it under the same Apple ID. There are apps that let you call and give you a number. I haven’t used them in a long time.
