Does it charge the Ipad pencil on the side? null

I have the IPad Air 5th generation and it does charge the 2nd generation Apple Pencil on the side.

Yes it does, the iPad has a magnetic side for the Apple Pencil to stick to and charge! It’s very convenient than the 1st gen where you would have to stick it into the iPad charging port to charge.
