Gotta ask the geek squad. I inherited this item from my newly college bound kid that purchased a more advance model. What I can tell you is that these folks at Best Buy, go beyond the call of duty for us clients/customers! Just today, I went so they can help me get this laptop registered to me, and they were great. The $200 we pay yearly is well worth the peace of mind we have for all the products we purchase there.
