It does not have a headphone jack, no, but neither do any of the later model iPhones. Bluetooth is definitely the way to go and latency has never been a problem with any Apple device I've ever owned. I've owned every iPhone since the first one was released in 2007. I've also owned about 4 different models of iPads, all with no issues and good Bluetooth audio quality (which is mostly dependent on the headphones you use, not the device they are connected to). The audio on the device itself is good as well - I've never had any complaints about the audio quality of the iPad with no headphones. You can watch videos, yes, but it also depends on what types of video you plan on watching. If you have videos saved to an external device somewhere, the best option would be to upload those to your iCloud storage (if you have it) or to something like Google Drive, both of which you can access through apps on the iPad. Obviously your standard video streaming apps will work fine as well (Netflix, Hulu, etc.).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not have the headphone jack, however, you can purchase an adapter ($6,99 open box) and use the headphones from your previous devices works great. Yes you can use devices to watch videos or tv using a tv app

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use any Bluetooth ready headphones with this iPad. Also there’s an accessory you can but to change the C output into a 3.5mm if you want to use it that way.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I suppose everyone misread my question. I know the iPad works with Bluetooth earphones/earbuds. My problem is watching a VIDEO using Bluetooth. Latency means DELAY, when something happens in the video, there is a delay of 750ms to 1250ms (depending upon the Bluetooth device) until the corresponding audio is heard. Very annoying. I did get the iPad and the dongle to connect my WIRED earbuds so I can watch video without the delay. Thanks for the responses.
