All iPads include an electronic keypad built in and that keyboard 'pops up' on screen when you use an app that utilizes a keyboard. If you want to use a 'real keyboard,' which links to the iPad via blue tooth you can buy Apple's "magic keyboard" (expensive) or get a much less expensive bluetooth keyboard, which will function just about the the same way. Lots of choices online or from BestBuy.
