Sadly no! Anything to make us have to buy additional gear to make the computer fully functional. I think Apple made a big mistake eliminating CD/DVD players from both the desktops and laptops. Since the prices did not go down on either, I assume that this was a way for Apple to make more profit. Of course they would say that it allows them to make the computers lighter and thinner (who cares). Another issue with my new desktop is that now Microsoft doesn't let you buy/own Microsoft Office (unless you are OK never being able to update it). They only offer it as a yearly RENTAL (again if you ever want it updated). Of course over several years they make far more profit than if they allowed you to own and update the program. I hope that this is not a trend for all software. Also, my new desktop surprisingly did not come with Catalina (just Mojave). When I upgraded to Catalina, half of my favorite applications no longer run. App developers have not kept pace with making their apps compatible with the latest operating systems. Bummer!
