So this is not an iPad question, it's an Airpods question. The iPad doesn't care what the airpods are connected to, they will connect if the airpods let them. So the real question is, can I pair one set of airpods to multiple devices? Yes! You can pair up to 3 devices at a time using the Multi Pairing feature. To swap between previously paired devices, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds until you feel a short vibration.
