• The main difference between these two is the silicone ear tips. In my opinion, the ear tips are useful for a better fit but it may depend on ur ears. Some people say that it makes them uncomfortable because it’s too big, etc..

• I have had both . The 3 rd generation charges so much quicker. It also holds charge much longer. I listen to ebooks a lot and I can go most of the day with one charge.
