A:AnswerYes, generation 3 is newer but the reason generation 2 is so much more expensive is because it has better things in it like noise canceling and better speakers but, generation 3 airpods are still really nice so if your looking for newer airpods that are cheaper these are the way to go
A:AnswerI just took mine to the Apple Store today because the firmware wouldn’t update. They confirmed my serial number was flagged as altered or counterfeit. I bought them in store with Best Buy… Now I’m screwed I guess.
A:AnswerDefinitely the sound. The quality is overall better, especially with the spatial audio it allows for you to listen to your music while blocking out outside noises. I have about all generations and the 3rd is the best.
