I love my wired headphones so much, they are great quality. When listening to music I can hear the base very well- I have no complaints. In terms of durability it depends on your care. I have had a couple instances where the wired headphones have broken but that was truly on me. You just have to be careful your not pulling them too much. So if you take care of them you’ll be fine. But overall I would very much recommend these headphones if you want budget friendly option. I still use them even though I have more expensive options! They are a great alternative if my other headphones are not charged or I don’t feel like having such a heavy headphones on.

The iPod Lightning headphones deliver a perfect blend of simplicity, sound quality, and everyday convenience. From the moment you plug them in, you get a reliable, clear connection with zero lag or Bluetooth pairing issues. The audio is crisp and well-balanced — vocals sound clean and detailed, and the bass has a surprisingly strong punch without overpowering the mids. Comfort is another big win. The lightweight, low-profile EarPods design fits naturally in the ear, making them easy to wear for long periods without fatigue. They’re great for workouts, commuting, or just relaxing with music, podcasts, or calls. The built-in microphone and volume controls are super responsive and make switching songs or answering calls effortless. Plus, because they draw power directly from the device, you never have to worry about charging them — they’re always ready to go. If you want a dependable set of headphones with great sound and Apple-clean design, these Lightning earphones are absolutely worth it. They’re straightforward, durable, and deliver exactly what most people need every day. Bottom line: Affordable, comfortable, and clear — they remain one of the best wired options for Apple users.

The design and virginal white color are classic and a tremendous value when they come free with your iPhone purchase, but when forced to buy a replacement pair the perception of value begins to slide down a steep slippery slope. The inline mic is above average and improves the experience of conversating on the iPhone. Sound quality however is below average to poor. When the first generation models first debuted the quality was atrocious especially when compared to other apple products. Over time Apple has improved the sound quality but still leaves much to be desired. The most frustrating experience is when the EarPods suicide jump out of my ears during any brisk or vigorous activity - thankfully my crestfallen jumpers are tethered to a safety wire, for if they were not I would Undoubtedly have lost countless to the mean streets and concrete jungle of NYC. The headsets are remarkably fragile for an Apple product. The shoddy craftsmanship trend seems to be a company wide trend affecting almost every Apple product since the passing of Steve Jobs. Am I the only person who feels this way? My instore BestBuy retail experience is always hit or miss, and this trip to the mall was no exception. In the past I’ve had some truly wonderful experiences with the staff - hence why I’m still a high spending customer despite many (too many) poor in store experiences. This particular night and purchase I was basically rushed and ushered out the store because it was nearing closing time. After I paid at the register I was asking an associate a question - I was interrupted and funneled towards the exit. Yes, you read that right: I was escorted out of the store the moment the transaction was complete. The ink was still wet on the receipt as the security guard spot checked the my bag, the purchase and hurried me out. I became enraged and then intoxicated on the sugary fumes wafting from the nearby Auntie Anne’s kiosk that drew me in like a moth to a flame. With my replacement EarPods in one hand and a soft Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel hot from the oven, sprinkled with fresh cinnamon, sweet sugar in my other hand I sat baffled and puzzled, but also satiated.
