• I just took mine to the Apple Store today because the firmware wouldn’t update. They confirmed my serial number was flagged as altered or counterfeit. I bought them in store with Best Buy… Now I’m screwed I guess.

• Yes! These are brand new and authentic. It’s as if I bought it from the Apple Store. Bestbuy sells real AirPods. However, I believe bestbuy also sells secondhand real AirPods for cheaper but you might have to look it up yourself.
