• There is currently only one generation of the Apple AirPods Max. These should be new unless it says differently in the item title. Apple is known to almost never have sales/markdowns on their website or in their retail stores. Stores like Best Buy are able to do so with no issues. I recommend purchasing from here as the same warranty will apply as it would at Apple.

• There may not be an old product in the store, perhaps they opened the box to look or it didn’t fit and was returned - so they may cost less. But everything is new.
