• Take it to the apple store if it is still under the 1 year warranty. They'll repair it for you.

• Forgot them the AirPods from your device. With both AirPods in the case and the case open, hold the button on the back (15 seconds or so) until the light flashes white. Attempt to re-pair/re-sync them with your iOS device.
