Yes. You can leave them in the charging case plugged in. As always with any electronic devices, you want to follow the instructions that come with your AirPods. When you first purchase any new electronic device that requires you to charge it. Always allow a full charge before first use. Electronic devices come fully or partially charged but during shipping and process of your item there is lengthy-time in between by the time it reaches its destination then makes it on the shelf then into your hands. so as always give it a full charge before first use. Then allow them to play out the length of the battery until it starts to run low. This will prolong the life of the battery. and always keep your Airpods in the storage case for protection from damaging elements.
