• Technically no, however, I've heard that people put them through the wash and they come out just fine (I wouldn't test it though). If you splash water on the case and it's closed (and away from the lightning port) it should survive.

• It’s not water resistant the new AirPods that will be coming out very soon with be water resistant the only really new thing on the AirPods are the wireless charging case
