• I bought mine in store and they only had the 2nd generation when we were there.

• Jackson, TN had both non-wireless and wireless charging AirPods in stock on Friday Aug 30th. They are hard to find in the store though. So just simply go to where they activate phones as that is where they keep them locked up at.
