• They actually have a small battery inside. It’s not rechargeable but these batteries are supposed to last a long time.

• No they do not need to be charged. The battery life is one year. So they do need to be changed out every year

• No charging but Yes you can change the battery. apple claims one year battery life for each battery.

• No, they use removable batteries that you can buy when the time comes but they are meant to last 1 year at a time.
