• You can absolutely use it as such! I use the ipad pencil to draw on it, I use the app Procreate and it works perfectly!

• Yes, you can use Apple Pencil 1st generation on it!

• This does not support Apple Pencil that can affect drawing purposes.

• You can use this for drawing purposes as it support the 1st generation Apple pencil. Please note the size is 9.7 inches.
