• You can only pair 2 at the same time, however you can intercom and announce messages to them all at once.

• You can check Apple's website for specifics, but you can have a different mini in any number of rooms. As long as they're on the same wifi network (just depends on how good your wifi network is) they can link together or operate separately.

• I really don’t think there is a linit. I have 3 of the original Homepods and 2 of the homepod minis for a total of 5. Being able to walk through my 2200 sqft and have my music playing throughout is really cool.
