“How does it receive power? I see no cord in any picture. Can I set it in the middle of my coffee table, in the center of the room, and not need a cord? Is it battery powered? Thanks.”

It is not battery powered. It requires to be plugged into an outlet to function.

That said, it is much nicer than the typical white power cable that has a tendency to get dingy/yellow and gray. I purchased the space gray model and the cable is also space gray and covered in a fabric like material similar to the speaker casing.

(the cord is also non-removable because some products do have removable cords in case you were wondering but this product is not one of them)
