• I don't think so. I had to take my old mac in and they transferred the info from old one to new one. It took a couple of hours. I am not sure what you mean by remove the old one. If you mean take it away, no, unless you choose to mail it to them. I left the old mac there, got a 50 dollar store credit and had them erase data on it. I hope this answers your question.
