• Ipad will need to use apple tv to work wirelessly. Wifi is not needed to mirror to tv

• Yes, AppleTV requires wifi to operate. To play your iPad on the AppleTV, simply swipe up on your iPad to activate the mini menus. Find the AirPlay Mirroring button and select. It should search and find your AppleTV. When it does, simply select it. Your iPad should now be playing on your TV.
