The WiFi iPad means it can only be used with WiFi and not cellular data service. So if you have WiFi at home it’s perfect for you and there is no contract involved!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Kmeck, NO CONTRACT REQUIRED. This iPad is/has just "WiFi"...meaning you can connect to your "WiFi" at Home (Go to SETTINGS. Tap the WIFI BUTTON to enable WiFi, a list will come down. Pick your HOMES WIFI, then enter Your WiFi PASSWORD. Then you shoul be Connected). You can also connect to "WiFi" whereever it is availble ie: school, coffee shop, hospital, fast food places or a "Personal Hotspot(like your/a phone) etc. The ones that you would need a "Contract" with is if the iPad states "WiFi + Cellular"( then you would need a "Data Plan from a/the Cellular Company connected/locked to the iPad (unless its unlocked).
