• I Bluetooth my iPad to my iPhone 6S all the time and surf the internet on my iPad. You have to be in a location where you have cell phone service, and make sure your hot spot is on (on your phone). If you do it this way, it uses your phone data as if you were surfing the internet on your phone. I have Verizon for my cell phone service and it isn’t an added charge on my bill unless I go over my data allowance. I find it really handy to Bluetooth my iPad to my iPhone if I am at the lake or somewhere that I don’t have internet access.
