This is the 2018 IPad model. It came with IOS 11, but we have upgraded it to IOS12. I am not sure what they ship with now, but it definitely can run IOS 12 effectively.

This is the newer iPad, so the version is updated to the most current now! I am pretty sure it is 12, so you should be fine! The mini 4 and up also run the newer version if you wanted a smaller iPad! I have attached the two iPads, if you would like to compare models, the apple website has an option for that! Hope this helps!
