“Is this iPad a good substitute for a laptop for a high school student?”

• Almost but not quite; it might get closer with a keyboard. The Apple Pencil makes this in some ways more versatile than a laptop. But there are some programs that just don’t play well with the iPad yet, so if a laptop is required then probably stick with the laptop, unless the student has access to a computer elsewhere.

• Yes, you are able to download Microsoft works and have the option of using a detachable keyboard and well as have the flexibility of using the new iPad pen
