“I tried to restore my MacBook as new. Something went wrong and the photo attached to this message shows the problem. My laptop Won't go past this screen, I don't know what to do. Does anyone know how much I'm looking at if I was to get it repaired?”

1) This post about your MacBook is in the IPad section 2) your photo is not present Try resetting your Parameter Ram or non volatile Memory to default, restart your amacbook, immediately hold down the Apple and Option and P R keys (I know it’s like playing Keyboard Twister with your fingers) while starting up, once if goes as far as it goes, it’d if does not succeed , restart again and hold down on the D (for disk) key or C for CD Rom key depending on if you have a Systtm CD Disk, and that should allow you to with the D Key, get to the system backup partition to restore your MacOS. Or get to the CDRom MacOS to restore from there. Another way is to load the OS onto a USB drive and Start from thst . By holding down the option key then selecting what drive you want to start from.
