Yes, you will pay for the iPad in monthly installments if you decide to finance through Verizon like how you finance a phone. The monthly payments will be added to your monthly phone bill. If you pay for the iPad upfront (pay it off), you won't be paying for the device monthly. However, keep in mind that you will need a data plan for the iPad. With Verizon, you will choose a connected device data plan and you will pay for it monthly. So, if you finance the iPad through Verizon, each month you will be paying for the device and the data plan. If buy the iPad in full, you will only be paying for the data plan each month.
