“What's the difference between buying the iPad with wifi-only and buying it with Wi-Fi plus unlocked? I'm not sure what the unlocked portion means... if someone could please elaborate”

• WiFi only means that your iPad will only connect to the internet via WiFi. WiFi plus unlocked means that's you can put in a sim card and use mobile data from any carrier since it's unlocked.

• The unlocked version will allow you to put your iPad on a data plan with your cellular company, if you would like. It is not necessary to have it on a data plan, but it is nice to have the option when you are in a place without Wi-Fi.
