• Correct . You will have to switch to an esim & it’s really easy to set up through your carrier . Just double check that your phone carrier offers esim.

• Any iPhone above a 15 does not have a SIM card slot anymore. It surprised me too. You’ll have to use your iCloud sign in to get your stuff back. OR you can put your SIM card into a computer and retrieve all of your lost stuff that way.
