Best Buy lets you put up to 75% of the phone price as a down payment. That said if you are a add on line you should look at the discounts at other stores too ... Costco usually has good deals.

I did a down payment of $200 at Best Buy when I bought my phone so that my AT&T monthly payment is under $10. You can put any amount down as a payment as long as it's a multiple of $50 & you leave some amount left for payments with AT&T.
