• Not really. I tried it on a case I have that isn’t MagSafe and it stuck, but the slightest movement made it fall off

• It does depending on how thick or thin the case is.

• It will not stick and hold on as good as it will with a MagSafe case.

• It works ok but not as secure as without a case or with an Apple MagSafe case

• The case you are going to use must be direct from Apple with "Magsafe" technology. If you use another generic it will not work.

• Not unless it’s a MagSafe case, the back of the walled is a MagSafe magnet, which magnets to the back of any MagSafe capable case
