Does unlocked phone means I can put my own sim in it null

As long as it's a nano SIM card, yes. Unlocked just kinda means it's not tied to one phone company.

I put the SIM from my unlocked Motorola Z3 Play into the iPhone SE (2nd Gen) and it works great. It was so easy even I could do it. And I did!
