I found the resource from "Best Buy International Orders"
A:AnswerI am not leasing and it would mostly depend on your carrier. My previous lease was for 18 months. I am making payments on this phone for 24 I believe. I did turn my phone in to my carrier instead of paying off my lease. Hope that helps.
A:AnswerYou essentially are paying in parts. All carriers allow you to make monthly payments on phones as part of your service agreement with them. The iPhone will become "locked" to Verizon though once it is activated on the network for a certain amount of time.
A:AnswerThe phone works on any network, so you can purchase it at the full price and send to you friend, but they would have to figure out how to get it activated. If you buy it outright at the full price, I think you can get it unlocked. I believe if you buy it on a payment plan through AT&T, they will not unlock it for you until you have the phone fully paid off which could take 24 or 36 months. It seems to me that you want to buy it on a payment plan. If that is the case, your friend would have to have AT&T service for it to work.
There is a finance option through Apple directly, and you get an unlocked phone right out of the box. This would give your friend to activate the phone on any network right away. I would ask a best buy expert if they have this option also.

A:AnswerI did not have to put any money down. I took a 30 month plan to pay off the phone. My phone carrier is AT&T and I had an upgrade. Took the phone home the same day.
To purchase a 256gb iPhonex was going for USD$1150.00 without tax and the 64gb was priced at 995.00 without tax.
