This product, the iPhone X, ships with a standard 5W power adapter and USB-A to Lightning USB cable. Though it may go unnoticed for many, charging with this standard setup is excruciatingly slow when compared to other more superior charging methods. Charging this phone using the included standard adapter and cable, one can expect to see battery percentage speed increases similar to that of which you state to be experiencing yourself. Fortunately, there are other charging methods one can utilize which can greatly reduce the time needed to efficiently charge their iPhone device to an acceptable battery state. Through my understanding, personal preference, and also in my opinion, along with a seemingly higher rate of first-hand trial and error experience than that of a typical iPhone user, one particular charging method stands out as the most optimal and reliable among the others which needn't be mentioned except for one which can otherwise, under certain circumstances, actually be the better approach when deciding the most efficient way to charge an iPhone device. The method I recommend can be used permanently with no need for maintenance or checkup, especially when the user's preference is to stick to one single charging method that functions efficiently without having to make any additional changes thereafter aside from the initial steps that are to be taken to satisfy this method. For optimal charging, one can instead use the 12W iPad charger together with a standard Lightning cable to charge their iPhone which may increase charging speeds by almost twice as fast when compared to using the standard 5W adapter. Alternatively, for the best charging performance one might demand, the one method worth mentioning is to switch from using a standard Lightning cable to instead using an Apple verified USB-C to Lightning cable along with an 18W minimum charging power adapter which should roughly increase the charging speed by 10% compared to the first method which is rather ideally recommended to preserve battery life which is still only just a personal gut instinct that could someday be proven to one day be either a legitimate reason to avoid using such increased charging methods, or as naturally worrisome ones thoughts can be, tried and tested are these common fears, calmed by full coverage and warranties.
