• I didn’t have to subscribe to Apple Music. I am not sure if they are extending the protection plan. I have it and I think it ends on my due date from when I bought it.

• Hi Rick. When I set my iPod up, I did not have to subscribe to Apple Music. That is your choice. But know if you subscribe to Apple Music, and you cancel, You will lose all the music you downloaded from Apple Music, Just saying. I am not sure about the extended plan I would suggest to call the company on that. I am going to guess that is the reason why they did it. Hope this helped. Enjoy your iPod.
