If you’re on a tight budget and don’t need cutting-edge performance, it could be a good entry-level option for basic tasks like web browsing, word processing, and media consumption. If you plan to use it for simple, everyday tasks, the 2014 MacBook Air may still be adequate. If your budget allows, you may consider a newer MacBook Air, ideally with the M1 or M2 chip, because it offers much better performance, battery life, and longevity.
