A:AnswerProbably High Sierra. Mojave is the next update (pretty nice). The latest updated is Catalina. I have heard that with Catalina, you may want to wait a while before installing this update as it has been a little problematic and it also eliminates use of 32 bit apps as well as the elimination of iTunes which is replace by Apple Music app. As for office or any other app, I would get the 64 bit version as I am pretty sure that future OS updates are phasing out 32 bit apps and will not be compatible. I believe your current OS ie: High Sierra and Mojave are however compatible with 64 bit apps.
