- Answer Yes, what you need is called a dongle. You can google mac dongle to ensure you can have the correct connector for your dvd player.

- Answer No it does not. You can download some of the Offixe apps that are independent for free. Or if you already have an Office 365 subscription with multiple device installation, even if for Windows, you can install Office 365 on your Mac. Right now, Microsoft has discounted their Offixe 365 annual subscription to $69 and up to 5 or 6 devices. Hope that helps
