• A:Answer Only lcd is a display type. Led is the type of backlight used behind the lcd display. For the second part of your question if you are taking about solid state and flash storage, it is essentially the same thing.

• A:Answer Yes. You open it set up enter your Apple ID pick language and preferences and ready to go. Nothing to install. You’ll need to get MIcrosoft subscription separately as you mention. It has all the Apple software already installed Pages, Keynote, and Numbers etc..
