I use a bluetooth mouse, and find it superior to a wired mouse anyway. That said there are adapters to make a USB-C work with any port.

The mice that I have used that utilizes USB dongles, seem to work pretty well in it so far.

Apple and many others sell a wireless mouse. They come with a dongle to fit into the thunderbolt 3 ports (usb-c). If the dongle is only USB, then you will have to buy an adapter, which apple also makes.
