you can get the 16gb of ram as an option but its $200 more. Im not sure if Best Buy will sell it since they only have the 512gig SSD only, you will want to go to apple directly for the 16 gig of ram. hope this answers your question.

Best Buy typically only carries the base models. you'd most likely need to go to Apple directly to get any modifications.
