- Answer This not a gaming laptop. Yes you can play game by installing windows on parallel., but it won't be even close to any cheaper gaming laptop in 1000 - 1200$ range. But the user experience and quality is by far better than any windows laptop. I use it for all my development and not having any over heating problem. The overall experience of this machine is way better than any windows laptop.

QuestionIf you purchase the 32G ram model (the highest available at Best Buy), can it be upgraded to 64g or 96g or do we have to purchase it directly from the Apple store for these options? Is Apple or Geek Squad able to upgrade it after purchase?

- Answer No, this will be the max amount of RAM you can have. It is essentially built onto the CPU so it cannot be upgraded after the fact.

- Answer Yes to both your questions. As a video editor myself, I can tell you that it handles editing as well as rendering in 4K quite excellent. You’ll be very pleased with this machine’s performance. It really is lightening fast.

- Answer At a discount right now, here @ Best Buy it’s a savings of $700 You can save even more if you look around for a brand new Max 1 - 32/32/1TB Very few deals to be had on the new M2 Max MBP - @$3500, that’s a significant chunk of change. Save 700 now and sell it for the new M6 four years from now for 70% of the price you paid vs 70% of retail. The two are extremely powerful computers and depending what you’re doing, it’s a limited field you’ll see any difference between them.
