QuestionCan you flip the keyboard around (the opposite side from the closed position) so you can use it in tablet mode? Or would you have to take the keyboard off completely?

- Answer to flip it other side won't work only one side and it has magnets inside of it to hold your iPad and can be put it on and take it off at anytime you want so look closely to the pictures what it was shown there in this store ok

- Answer Hi there, Yes, the Apple Magic Keyboard is compatible with the iPad 9th gen, 10.2". It has the same Smart Connector that is used to connect to and power the keyboard. However, please note that the Magic Keyboard is designed for the 11-inch iPad Pro and iPad Air, so there will be a small gap around the edges of the iPad 9th gen, 10.2". This does not affect the functionality of the keyboard in any way, but it is something to be aware of if you are considering purchasing this keyboard for your iPad 9th gen, 10.2". - Answer The height open is 6 and 3/4 inches. With the pencil attached magnetically it is 6 and 7/8 inches with the pencil on the top. Closed as a screen protector, the entire unit is 1/2 inch thick. Width is 9 and 3/4 inches wide. Closed it is 7 1/2 inches deep and 8 inches deep where the pencil sits.
