• Yes. It is quite easy for the pencil to drop of the top. You will need a plan.

• The keyboard protects the iPad when it’s in closed positions. The camera lenses are still exposed. You will need a case if you want to carry it outside of a computer bag. The pencil is held to the keyboard by a magnet. I do carry mine in a bag.
