Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, this allows the newer MacBook (MagSafe2) to use the older power supply (MagSafe) - precisely the opposite of what you propose.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a md-2010 MacBook Pro and this adapter allows me to charge my new MacBook Pro with the charger from my old mbp.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it is used in the opposite direction. It allows you to use an older MagSafe charger with the newer MacSafes for more recent Macbooks.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. It is the other way around. Connect your MagSafe2 MAC to an older MagSafe power supply
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, just works to convert old chargers to the MagSafe 2 connection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it is not reverse compatible.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No; this is only for connecting a newer Mac with a MagSafe2 port to an older power brick (with a MagSafe tip). Do note that the latest MacBooks/Pros use a USBC power port so this adapter will not work for you in this case. The MacBook Air is still (as I write this) using a MagSafe2 power port.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This enables you to use an older charger or convert and older power cord / charger to use on a newer MacBook that uses the MagSafe 2 charger.
