• Only the Apple Pencil will work with the regular iPad. The gen is only compatible with iPad Air and iPad Pro

• Apple pencil 2 only works with 2018 and 2020 iPad pros. The original Apple pencil works with the regular iPad line in the last two generations, I believe.

• The second GEN pencil works with iPad Pro 11 inch and iPad Pro 12 inch third and fourth generation. I’m not sure where your iPad would fit in that.
