Is it normal to have line skipping? I've tried all the suggested fixes, like updating software, recharging, disconnecting bluetooth, cleaning screen, tightening nib, etc. But it still frequently skips and randomly won't write :( is mine defective? null

I haven't had any issues with skipping. You might be unfortunate enough to get a defective unit. It would be wise to call upon return policy or warranty for your device.

Yours seem to be defective. I have never had that problem.
